In this session, attorney and Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe member Aarik Robertson offers an overview into the complex relationship between Indian Tribes and the Federal Government that began over 500 years ago. This session is designed to offer an understanding of the history and the impact federal Indian policy has had on Indian Tribes and the unique challenges Indian Tribes face today.
