The Entrepreneur Fund, with support from the Wells Fargo Foundation, is excited to announce the launch of the Rural Field to Market Grant, a one-time funding opportunity designed to strengthen small- to mid-size farm and food businesses across EFund’s 16-county Minnesota service area.
Through a competitive process, EFund will award grants up to $20,000, with a total of $450,000 to distribute. Applications open January 12, 2026, and close February 16, 2026, at 5 p.m. CST.
The Rural Field to Market Grant program aims to increase revenue and overall business viability; create new market opportunities; and expand local sourcing for eligible businesses, including producers, processors, aggregators, distributors, and others within the food supply chain.
Grant funding can be used for pre-and-post harvest related business activities. This includes equipment or supplies associated with expanding production, staff time, business planning, software implementation, processing, and packing equipment. Funds cannot be used for land purchases and new building construction.
EFund will host two live webinars ahead of the application window with more information about this grant.
